ABOUT

Samantha Scantlin is a singer, songwriter, voice teacher, and piano teacher based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Most known for her ability to move seamlessly between vocal styles, Samantha's passion for vocal versatility began at a young age. She grew up singing gospel music in church and began to explore other styles by listening to various genres and imitating the sounds she heard.

Originally from Kansas, Samantha studied music education, voice, and business at Friends University where she received a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance in 2021. 

Immediately following her graduation from Friends University, Samantha moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to pursue a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance. During her studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she explored repertoire for various voice types including repertoire for soprano, mezzo-soprano, and contralto, culminating in her master's thesis: "Exploration of the Voice". 

Today, Sam sings professionally in the Milwaukee area and beyond in a variety of styles, delivering performances with power and versatility. 

Outside of performing, Samantha serves as the Executive Assistant at Marcus Performing Arts Center and she teaches voice and piano lessons at Brass Bell Music Store. When she isn't working or singing, she enjoys baking, spending time with friends, thrifting, and making custom gifts through graphic design.
